Cantax T1Plus 2024 Working Pre-Release!
We are pleased to announce that our Cantax T1Plus (version 24.1.3xx.100) software is now available for download.
Due to its early release date, the forms in this version have not yet been approved for filing. Therefore, do not submit any tax returns that have been prepared with this version to the CRA. The next version, scheduled to be released at the beginning of February, will be approved by the CRA for filing.
Please see the Release Notes for the highlights of this release. The Release Notes are accessible on our Web site and from the Welcome box in the program.
Activation Key
Please make sure that the workstation's regional settings are set to English (Canada or United States).
Cantax T1 requires an activation key to install the software, which includes various modules. Simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section.
Changes to Customer Support Channels
Since July 22, 2024, Wolters Kluwer Canada provides customer support for Cantax exclusively through web tickets and chats on the Support Platform. This transition is part of Wolters Kluwer Canada’s ongoing investment in digital strategy and customer experience. The Support Platform is designed to ensure customers can quickly access helpful information whenever needed.
All customers must be registered on the Support Platform in order to submit, modify, and track their support cases. You can register with the Support Platform by consulting Register with our Support Platform.
Release of our Advanced Virtual Agent 2.0
Combined with GenAI, our Advanced Virtual Agent now provides direct descriptive answers to your queries rather than a list of articles to consult. Based on the content of our knowledge base, these answers quickly provide all the information you need to get on with your work. Connect with our Advanced Virtual Agent 2.0 to benefit from a more efficient virtual conversation!
Consult our Knowledge Base to quickly find the information you need!
Available from the Support Web Site, our Knowledge Base contains an array of articles answering technical and tax questions most frequently asked to Support Centre agents. All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.

To consult the different training options available regarding Cantax T1 (seminars, webinars, tutorials and more), access the “Training” section of the Wolters Kluwer Web site. You can also access it from the program, by selecting Help, Cantax on the Web and Get Cantax Training.
