Personal Taxprep
Release of Version 4.0 of Personal Taxprep 2020
We are pleased to announce the release of version 4.0 of Personal Taxprep 2020, which is now available for download.
The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of April 4, 2021.
This version contains the forms released by the tax authorities for the 2020 taxation year, including those that were under review in previous versions. All forms were approved for filing. Returns can be EFILED with this version. For information on the transmission system schedule, please refer to the Electronic Filing section of the Release Notes.

Support Centre Opened on Saturdays until the end of April
As your software partner, we know that T1 tax season is a busy time for your business. For that reason, we have extended the working hours of our Support Centre, which will be opened on Saturdays until the end of April. We invite you to consult the dates and times of this extended schedule.
Consult our Knowledge Base to quickly find the information you need!
Our Knowledge Base contains an array of articles answering technical and tax questions most frequently asked to Support Centre agents. All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.
Activation Keys
Personal Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program, which includes various modules.
Simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section. If you have already installed a previous version of Personal Taxprep 2020, the activation key will not be required.

Here is a brief summary of the main changes:
- Schedule H, Tax Credit for Caregivers (Québec)
The calculations in Schedule H have been adjusted to better manage involuntary separation situations when the taxpayer is eligible for the tax credit for caregivers for their spouse.
- TP-358.0.1, Disability Supports Deduction (Québec)
This form has been updated by Revenu Québec. To review the changes, consult the release notes.
