CCH iFirm Taxprep T2: Server error 109 (Update: May 17, 2024)
Some CCH iFirm Taxprep T2 customers are receiving error message 109 when downloading T2 data through the Auto-fill my return (AFR) service. This error comes from the CRA's servers, and their IT team is actively working to resolve the issue.

We will notify you via this banner as soon as the problem has been resolved.

Personal Taxprep
Release of Version 5.0 of Personal Taxprep 2022

We are pleased to announce the release of version 5.0 of Personal Taxprep 2022, which is now available for download. Please note that starting with this version, we no longer ship CD-ROMs. Personal Taxprep is now only available for download.

Important:
The minimum subscription term for this product is one year.

This version allows you to file 2022 tax returns and helps you plan and forecast your clients’ needs for the next tax year (with the Planner mode). The 2023 federal and provincial government tax rates which were known at the time of this release have been incorporated.

Our Support Centres are Going Digital: Emails are Now Our First Priority

As part of our transformation to digital support centres, we are pleased to announce that email inquiries will now be given first priority. This digital shift will allow us to process your requests even faster, and better meet your needs.

From now on, use emails instead of telephone to contact Customer Service and the Support Centre by including your account number and the name of your product in the subject line as well as detailed information in your email (form/line/diagnostic number, print screens, etc.) to get accelerated service!


Consult our Knowledge Base to quickly find the information you need!

Available from the Support Web Site, our Knowledge Base contains an array of articles answering technical and tax questions most frequently asked to Support Centre agents. All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.


Activation Keys

Personal Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program, which includes various modules.
Simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section. If you have already installed a previous version of Personal Taxprep 2022, the activation key will not be required.


Training

To consult the different training options available regarding Personal Taxprep (seminars, webinars, tutorials and more), access the Training section of the Wolters Kluwer Web site. You can also access it from the program, by selecting Get Taxprep Training in the Help menu.
