Note: Cantax, CCH AnswerConnect, AliForm, CCH Engagement, CCH Practice Management, CCH Scan and CCH Site Builder products are already only supported by web tickets. Personal Taxprep
Release of Version 3.0 of Personal Taxprep 2020
We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.0 of Personal Taxprep 2020, which is now available for download.
The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of March 14, 2021.
This version contains the forms released by the tax authorities for the 2020 taxation year, including those that were under review in previous versions. All forms were approved for filing. Returns can be EFILED with this version. For information on the transmission system schedule, please refer to the Electronic Filing section of the Release Notes.

Support Centre Opened on Saturdays until the end of April
As your software partner, we know that T1 tax season is a busy time for your business. For that reason, we have extended the working hours of our Support Centre, which will be opened on Saturdays until the end of April. We invite you to consult the dates and times of this extended schedule.

All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.
Activation Keys
Personal Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program, which includes various modules.
Simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section. If you have already installed a previous version of Personal Taxprep 2020, the activation key will not be required.

Here is a brief summary of the main changes:
- Partially mask the Social Insurance Number
A new feature has been added to the options and setting, which allows you to display only the last four digits of the social insurance number (SIN) when printing. When this option is selected, the SIN printed in the header (or in the footer for Revenu Québec forms) will be partially masked on every page.
In addition to headers and footers, the SIN entered in Forms T183, T185, TP-1000 and the signature page for an authorization request will also be partially masked when printing.
The option is accessible in the menu Tools/Options and Setting/Print/Security.
- T183, Information Return for Electronic Filing of an Individual’s Income Tax Benefit Return
If you are using the electronic signature feature in CCH iFirm Portal, the fields in the Electronic signature section of Form T183 will now be automatically completed when the signature is entered on the portal.
