CCH Engagement 2017 - Supported Third Party Software Programs
Dear CCH Engagement Customer:
As your software partner, we strive to provide you with the highest possible level of security when accessing our products. To ensure your security, we can only support the most recent versions of third party software programs supported by CCH Engagement.
At Wolters Kluwer, our policy is to support the latest two versions available on the market for these third party software programs. While we may not always be aligned with this policy due to release timing, our goal is to either follow the lifecycle policy of third party software programs providers or support the latest two versions made avilable by those providers (and discontinue support for any prior version).
For the CCH Engagement 2017 version, scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2017, we will no longer support the following software programs:
It is imperative that you upgrade any environment that will no longer be supported to continue accessing Woters Kluwer products and services.
If you are using Microsoft Office 365 (only desktop install is supported), Microsoft has announced that subscribers would no longer be able to download or install Microsoft Office 2013 after February 28, 2017. Microsoft offers Microsoft Office 2016 as a free download with the Microsoft Office 365 subscription. However, in order to take advantage of the latest features available with Microsoft Office 2016, please ensure that you are using the most current version of CCH Engagement, i.e. version 7.5. For additional support with your Microsoft Office 365 subscription, please consult the following Microsoft article.
Note that we will now provide support only for versions 7.2, 7.5 and 2017 of CCH Engagement. If you are using a version of the program that is no longer supported, such as version 7.1, we recommend that you upgrade to a supported version. To upgrade to the 2017 version , a version 7.1 user must first upgrade to version 7.5. Version 7.2 and 7.5 users will be able to upgrade directly to the 2017 version.
