Corporate Taxprep 2023 v.1.0 Launch
We are pleased to announce the release of Corporate Taxprep 2023 v.1.0.
This version can be used to prepare corporate tax returns for taxation years beginning on or after January 1, 2021, and ending on or before October 31, 2023.
The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of June 4, 2023.
What's new in this version
The following is a brief summary of the changes included in Corporate Taxprep 2023 v.1.0.
To learn more about Corporate Taxprep and the new features, consult the program's Help as well as the Release Notes and QuickStart Guide available in the Professional Centre (accessible by clicking the Menu button).
Our Support Centres are Going Digital: Emails are Now Our First Priority
As part of our transformation to digital support centres, we are pleased to announce that email inquiries will now be given first priority. This digital shift will allow us to process your requests even faster, and better meet your needs.
From now on, use emails instead of telephone to contact Customer Service and the Support Centre by including your account number and the name of your product in the subject line as well as detailed information in your email (form/line/diagnostic number, print screens, etc.) to get accelerated service!
Consult our Knowledge Base to quickly find the information you need!
Available from the Support Web Site, our Knowledge Base contains an array of articles answering technical and tax questions most frequently asked to Support Centre agents. All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.
Activation Key
Corporate Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program and related optional modules (Specialized Information, Corporation Internet Filing or Network). If you choose to use them, simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section.

What's new in this version
The following is a brief summary of the changes included in Corporate Taxprep 2023 v.1.0.
- Electronic transmission for Schedule 89 (Jump Code: 89) and Form T2054 (Jump Code: 2054)
The electronic transmission of Schedule 89 and Form T2054 has been added. These transmissions are carried out separately from the T2 return electronic transmission. You will need an EFILE number to do these transmissions.
- New Form T2183 (Jump Code: T2183)
Form T2183 has been added to authorize a person to electronically file special elections in the name of the filing corporation.
