The latest release is now available for download.
Please follow the instructions below to download the new version:
- Access the Download Centre.
- Type your username and password in the Login section and click Log In.
- In the Dashboard page, click the Files Centre button in the Download section.
- In the CCH Accountants' Suite section, click CCH ProSystem fx Practice Management.
- Read and accept all the terms of the License Agreement.
You will then be able to download the documentation and the new version of the software. We also recommend that you save the files to a temporary location on your workstation.

Enhancements:

COPY CONTACTS
Contact setup has been enhanced to allow the user to copy contacts from an existing engagement, thus facilitating easier and quicker contact setup.
Under Administration/Lists/Clients, highlight a client and click the Tracking Folder button at the bottom of the screen. Then, click the new Contact Lookup button on the contacts tab within the client tracking folder to look up a list of contacts for the chosen client engagement.

SERVICE CODE SETUP
Changing from a non-billable service to a billable service is now prohibited if WIP records already exist.

EXPANDED NUMBER OF MAILERS
The number of mailers a firm may create has been increased to 999 from 99.

REFERRAL SETUP
Referral Setup has been enhanced to allow the user to copy an address from an existing engagement allowing for an easier and quicker referral setup.
Under Administration/Lists/Marketing/Referrals, if you open a Contact Name, click the new Firm Lookup button within the Referral Setup window to load a list of referral firms from which to copy.

DASHBOARD – FIRM SUMMARY - AR AGING
For each role under Firm Dashboard, we now include an AR Aging tab. Select a client’s row to see that client’s aging. A new Filter Client List allows the client list to be filtered by aging brackets: All, over 30 days, 60, 90 and 120 days.
The access to this Client AR Aging tab defaults to No under Administration/Firm/Security Setup/Firm Dashboard.

DASHBOARD – FIRM SUMMARY AND MY WORK IN PROGRESS SUMMARY
For each role of the Firm Dashboard, under the Firm Summary and My Summary tabs, the Work in Progress pane has been modified to include the WIP Balance line under the Fees and Expenses lines, which totals both Fees and Expenses amounts.

INVOICE LOOKUP
In Contact Management, the Invoices tab has been updated to sort by invoice number from highest to lowest. Use the Find Invoice Number lookup to easily find an invoice.

CORRECT BANK
Correct Bank has been added to the AR module to allow users to modify the bank choice originally selected when the AR transaction was first input. Corrections are made after posting and can be applied to single or to multiple transactions. Under Administration/Firm/Security Setup, a new Account Receivable Security Privilege called Correct AR Bank has been introduced for this feature and defaults to No.

TE CUSTOM
TE Custom now has an additional option where it can be configured to force timekeepers to choose a TE Custom value for each transaction if the field is required. The TE Custom settings can be reviewed on the Time Entry tab within Firm Setup.

MARKETING REPORT
Enable the new Include Progress Amounts option to include progress amounts in the Invoice column.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Edit Assigned Position Hours now consistently updates the budgeted hours regardless of how the records were ordered or the budget decisions made during the edit.
Edit Assigned Start/Target Dates no longer allows users to modify the target date to be greater than the current due date.

REPORTS
Invoice Number Status has been modified to prevent an error where the firm’s next invoice number is not higher than the highest number in the Archived Invoices table.
Employee Monthly Schedules now correctly groups employees assigned to multiple projects of the same type but having different descriptions.
Client Budget To Actual now presents rows associated with an employee having only a last name correctly.

TIME ENTRY
Prompts for users that may have exceeded their PTO allowances now correctly reference the firm’s label choice for PTO.

TRAY
Elapsed time for multiple edited timers now remains with and records for the correct timer.
System Requirements
The Minimum System Requirements have changed. They can be found here.
As your software partner, we strive to provide you with the highest security possible when accessing our products and Web sites. We can only do that by supporting the most recent versions provided through our vendors’ supported environments.
At Wolters Kluwer, we are adopting the policy of working within the latest two versions currently released in the market for these supported environments. While we may not always be aligned with this policy due to release timing, our goal is to either follow the vendor lifecycle policy or support the last two vendor versions and discontinue support for anything older.
The application will no longer support Microsoft® Office 2013 starting in November 2021.
- The application will no longer support Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 starting in November 2021.
This does not mean our products will automatically stop working with these older versions. However, if there are functionality issues on non-supported environments, Wolters Kluwer will not provide support or address the issues by making changes to its applications for these older non-supported environments.
