CCH iFirm Taxprep T2: Server error 109 (Update: May 17, 2024)
Some CCH iFirm Taxprep T2 customers are receiving error message 109 when downloading T2 data through the Auto-fill my return (AFR) service. This error comes from the CRA's servers, and their IT team is actively working to resolve the issue. We will notify you via this banner as soon as the problem has been resolved. Scheduled Maintenance: Support Platform unavailable on May 19, 2024, from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. ET
A schedule maintenance has been scheduled on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. ET. During this window, our support platform site at support.cch.com/oss/canada and its services will be unavailable. Web tickets and live chats are given priority over calls

Corporate Taxprep 2020 v.2.0 Launch
We are pleased to announce the release of Corporate Taxprep 2020 v.2.0.
This version can be used to prepare corporate tax returns for taxation years beginning on or after January 1, 2018, and ending on or before May 31, 2021.
The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of December 6, 2020.
What's new in this version
The following is a brief summary of the changes included in Corporate Taxprep 2020 v.2.0.
To learn more about Corporate Taxprep and the new features, consult the program's Help as well as the Release Notes and QuickStart Guide available in the Professional Centre (accessible by clicking the Menu button).

Our Knowledge Base contains an array of articles answering technical and tax questions most frequently asked to Support Centre agents. All you need to do is enter a few key words and the articles display in order of relevance to provide you with valuable information that will accurately answer your questions.
Activation Key
Corporate Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program and related optional modules (Specialized Information, Corporation Internet Filing or Network). If you choose to use them, simply enter the applicable key when prompted. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section.

What's new in this version
The following is a brief summary of the changes included in Corporate Taxprep 2020 v.2.0.
- E-Signature
The e-Signature feature was added to forms that can be electronically signed in Corporate Taxprep.
- New engagement letter
A new Engagement Letter has been added and allows you and your client to sign an agreement with respect to the engagement relating to corporation income tax preparation.
- Form T1134 update
Form T1134 has been updated and the information that must now be entered include important modifications for corporations with a taxation year starting after 2020.
- Addition of new Québec forms in a future version 2.1 2020
We expect to add four Revenu Québec forms in a future version 2.1 2020 which should be available at the end of February 2020.
