Microsoft Update Impacting Trial Balance Reports


Dear CCH Engagement Customer:

Important information: Following the latest CCH Engagement update, Microsoft® released a Microsoft Office update (365/2016) (Build #8201.2102, released on June 13, 2017) that has been negatively impacting some trial balance reports in CCH Engagement. When opening the impacted trial balance reports, the trial balance information will be duplicated.

We are currently working with Microsoft to identify the cause of the problem and will keep you informed of any development as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, the best way to address this issue is to delete or roll back the latest Microsoft update. We recommend that you do not save a trial balance report if, when you open it, you see that the information is duplicated. Once the update has been deleted, the report should reopen and refresh correctly. If you already saved a corrupted report, you will need to recreate the report after the update is deleted.
