Cantax T2 26.1.3xx.100 Release!
We are pleased to announce that our Cantax T2 versions are now available for download.
This release of Cantax T2 and T2Plus can be used to prepare corporate income tax returns for taxation years that began on or after January 1, 2024 and will end on or before October 31, 2026.

Here is a summary of the changes included in Cantax T2 26.1.3xx.100.
- Capital cost allowance modifications
The changes regarding reaccelerated investment incentive property announced in Bill C-15 have been incorporated into this version. In addition, the acquisition cost limit for passenger vehicles of Class 10.1 ($39,000) has been adjusted for acquisitions made after December 31, 2025.
- Capital expenditures for scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED)
Adjustments regarding SR&ED capital expenditures for depreciable property acquired after December 15, 2024, have been incorporated into this version.
In addition, Schedule 31 has been modified to reflect adjustments related to SR&ED capital expenditures and adjustments related to the calculation of the SR&ED expenditure limit.

Activation Key
Cantax T2 requires an activation key to install the software, which includes various modules. To access your activation key, go to https://support.wolterskluwer.ca/en/download/ and log in to the Login section. In the Dashboard page, click the Activation Key(s) button in the Download section.
Reintroducing Telephone Support
