CCH Engagement Menu Commands not available on the Add-in Ribbon and Right-click Menu in Microsoft® Excel® Workpapers when version 1707 of Microsoft® Office® 365 is used
Problem:
I am using version 1707 (8326.2107) of Microsoft Office 365 released September 12, 2017, and the CCH Engagement menu commands that should be available on the add-in ribbon and right-click menu do not display when I use Microsoft Excel workpapers. Additional CCH Engagement functionalities, such as the refresh and trial balance functions, are also affected by the 1707 update.
Solution:
You can restore the CCH Engagement functionalities by rolling back Microsoft Office 365 to a version earlier than version 1707 (8326.2107). After having installed a prior version of Microsoft Office 365, you have to disable the automatic update function to prevent the updates from installing again. For information on the procedure to follow to uninstall your version of Microsoft Office 365 or to roll back to a prior version, consult the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article on the topic.
