Important Notice: Compatibility Between CCH Accountants' Suite Software and Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2016

Recently, Microsoft® officially released the Windows 10 operating system as well as Office 2016. We are currently testing both Windows 10 and Office 2016 compatibility with all of the CCH Accountants’ Suite products, in particular:

CCH® Document CCH® Engagement CCH® KnowledgeConnect
CCH® Portal CCH® Practice Advantage CCH® Profit Driver
CCH® Workflow CCH® Scan CCH® ProSystem fx® Practice Management

Although our goal is to support the new Windows 10 operating system for all our products as soon as possible, compatibility may vary based on their unique release schedules. A compatibility chart will be provided to our customers when testing is complete. In the meantime, we recommend that you wait until our products are certified for use with Windows 10 and Office 2016 before upgrading to the new operating system.

Moreover, should you decide to use the new Microsoft Edge browser, be advised that it may present unforeseen challenges when used with some of our software programs. Note that Microsoft allows you to use Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) instead of the Edge browser. For that reason, we recommend that you use Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) at this time.
